My Experiment: Candle Making

Here I am again, trying something new—candle making.

With Christmas just around the corner, I wanted to create something meaningful for my friends and family. Instead of store-bought gifts, I dreamed of giving them something handmade and unique—something warm, personal, and full of love.

I bought a DIY candle-making kit and, as always, learned the process through a few YouTube videos. My theme was simple yet festive: pink heart designer shot-glass candles and Christmas tree candles.

I made tiny pink hearts with soy wax, layered white and shimmering pink wax in shot glasses, and sealed them with clear gel wax. For the Christmas tree candles, I poured green sequin soy wax into moulds and later painted them with touches of gold and red.

When the candles were finally ready, they turned out more beautiful than I expected. Each one felt like a small piece of Christmas—handmade, heartfelt, and made to be shared.

Tomorrow I am going to share this with my friends and family, lets hope they would love it.
